Acquisition of MADCAP could lift revenue by about 20% and deepen Jade’s role in dairy supply chain technology
3 Mar 2026

Jade Software has made a decisive move in the global dairy sector, acquiring MADCAP, a long established supply chain and data management platform used by processors across multiple markets. The deal signals a clear ambition: to become a central player in the digital infrastructure that underpins how milk moves from farm to factory.
MADCAP’s software sits at the heart of processor operations. It manages milk collection, laboratory testing, quality tracking, and farmer payments, linking farms, tankers, labs, and plants through a single workflow. For many processors, that integration is not just convenient but critical, providing operational visibility and supporting complex reporting requirements.
According to reporting by NBR, the acquisition is expected to lift Jade’s revenue by roughly 20% to 25 percent. Chief executive Rachael Kelly has framed the purchase as growth focused, with plans to continue investing in product development and to expand the platform’s presence internationally. Rather than building a competing product from scratch, Jade has opted to buy into established relationships and software already embedded in day to day operations.
The timing reflects broader shifts in the dairy industry. Processors are under mounting pressure to strengthen traceability, compliance reporting, and supply chain transparency, and digital platforms have become key tools in meeting those expectations. Systems that combine pickup scheduling, quality data, and payment processing are increasingly viewed as essential rather than optional.
Still, integration will test the company’s execution. Aligning technology systems, safeguarding sensitive operational data, and scaling services across markets are complex tasks, particularly in a competitive agricultural software landscape. Consolidation may be gathering pace, but so is scrutiny over performance and reliability.
For Jade, the acquisition underscores a simple reality. In modern dairy processing, data is no longer a back office function but a strategic asset shaping efficiency, accountability, and growth.
